Ramsdale Names The 3 Arsenal Players Who Will Be “A Massive Help” During The Title Run In

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale believes the experience that the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jorginho possess could prove invaluable in the final weeks of the season.

While both Jesus and Zinchenko have won the Premier League title with Manchester City, Jorginho has a Champions League and European Championship under his belt, and Ramsdale is hoping their track record of winning trophies will help the Gunners in the title race:

“The additions of [Gabriel] Jesus and [Oleksandr] Zinchenko are a massive help. They’ve been there and done it. Jorginho now has come in and he’s been there and done it, [winning] every trophy other than the Premier League and the World Cup.”

You would think that the presence of these players should allow Mikel Arteta’s side to hold their heads as the pressure ratchets up over the coming weeks.

With the exception of those three players (and Thomas Partey), Arsenal’s squad will be experiencing a level of intensity that they may never have encountered before.

The Gunners do have a great advantage in terms of having an eight-point lead at the top but the test of the squad’s character will come when (or if) City do close the gap. As Ramsdale says, having players who have been through it before could be decisive.
