‘Quarter Final Here We Come’ ‘Should Not Be Underestimated’ – Fans On Twitter React To Arsenal’s Europa League Draw

Arsenal will play Rennes in the last 16 of the Europa League after making it through against BATE Borisov last night.

The French side are currently 11th in Ligue One but did come out 6-4 winners on aggregate against Real Betis after a 3-1 away win yesterday evening.

Supporters on Twitter believe the Gunners could have got a harder draw but some are warning not to be complacent:

Rennes are certainly no slouches. They have talented players, including reported Arsenal target Ismail Sarr, in their ranks.

You can expect both games to be open encounters and the Gunners will be hoping their extra quality in attack will help them progress to the quarterfinals.

The first leg will be at the Emirates on 7th March while the return fixture will be just a week later. The London club will have the North London derby against Tottenham the weekend before the first match.

The Manchester United game will also be sandwiched between the two legs making for a huge couple of weeks for Unai Emery’s side.
