PSG youngster ready to follow Unai Emery to Arsenal

Arsenal are ready to sign PSG youngster Yacine Adli, after the youngster rejected the chance to sign a professional contract with the French champions.

The Gunners appointed former PSG boss Unai Emery as the club’s new manager last week, with the Spaniard replacing the long serving Arsene Wenger.

And Emery could make his first signing as Arsenal boss in the coming days by landing his former player.

Adli, 17, is one of France’s most promising youngsters, however is looking to move away from Paris and could follow Emery to North London.

The Daily Mail says the 17-year-old midfielder is poised to sign a three-year deal with the Gunners.

Adli has only one professional appearance to his name, that coming when he made his debut for PSG on the final day of last season, coming on as a late substitute in a 0-0 draw with Caen.

The teenager however has an impressive record for France’s international youth sides.

Adli has managed 13 goals in 33 appearances for his country, and has represented the France U17s at the 2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
