Premier League Transfers: Every Confirmed January 2025 Deal For Each Premier League Team

Premier League teams are hoping to finalise last-minute transfers ahead of the 11pm deadline on Monday 3 February. 

Arsenal and Liverpool are both yet to make a signing this month as they currently sit in the top two of the league table. The Gunners’ title hopes improved after a 5-1 win over Manchester City on Sunday.


Meanwhile rivals Manchester City have brought in four new players as they aim to improve their squad after a poor first half of the season.

Here is the ins and outs of every Premier League team during the 2025 January transfer window…

Arsenal

The Gunners haven’t made a January signing, but have been linked to several world-class strikers this month.

Benjamin Sesko was heavily linked, but he looks more likely for a summer transfer window. Furthermore, Arsenal made a £60m bid for Ollie Watkins, which was rejected by Aston Villa.

Aston Villa

Former Arsenal manager Unai Emery has had a busy winter with regards to transfers, making three new signings this month including the blockbuster loan deal for Marcus Rashford. They have also signed PSG midfielder Marco Asensio on loan.

Furthermore, Villa sold star striker Jhon Duran to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr for a huge fee of £64m.

AFC Bournemouth

A quieter January window than the summer for Bournemouth, who have signed two players in the window for a total cost of £7.8m

Out: Phillip Billing to Napoli (Loan), Max Aarons to Valencia (Loan), Mark Travers to Middlesbrough (Loan). 

Brentford

Brentford have had a hard time trying to keep hold of some of their top players with both Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa generating column inches. Mbeumo was reportedly linked to Arsenal and Liverpool, and could more likely leave in the summer.

All of their January moves are loan deals, they haven’t made any permanent signings or sales this month.

Brighton

The Seagulls have had a fairly busy January window as they continue to implement their impressive transfer strategy of buying young, high-potential players who they can sell in a few years.

They made a deadline day move as striker Evan Ferguson left on loan for West Ham, he had been linked with Arsenal, Fulham and Chelsea.

Chelsea

Considering how busy the Blues’ summer transfer window was, the winter has been a lot more quiet, especially considering incomings. They have made three departures however including two loan deals.

Crystal Palace

Much like Brentford, Palace have been working hard to keep hold of some of their prized assets like they did during the summer transfer window.

Defender Marc Guehi has been linked to both Chelsea and Tottenham this month, and Tyrick Mitchell was linked with Manchester United.

Everton

The biggest transfer news regarding Everton this January was the fact that they sacked Sean Dyche and brought in former manager David Moyes for his second stint with the club.

They have not seen any incomings as of yet.

Fulham

The Cottagers are set to sign former player Willian, who is a free agent after he left Olympiacos in December. The Brazilian made his name at Chelsea.

As the Tractor Boys aim to stay in the Premier League, they have done a fair bit of business this month, as well as in the summer. Ipswich have utilized loan deals well, and have kept hold of Liam Delap despite interest from Chelsea and Tottenham this month.

The Foxes have made just one winter signing as they aim to try and avoid relegation under Ruud Van Nistelrooy. They have seen three departures to the Championship.

Liverpool

With all going well for Arne Slot at Anfield so far, it comes as no surprise that they have had a very quiet transfer window. The Reds are yet to make a signing, and it doesn’t look as though they will add anyone before 11 pm.

Manchester City

City have been by far the most active team in the January window, spending more money than every Premier League team did in January 2024.

They have spent a total of £125m this month, with their most recent signing expected to be Porto midfielder Nico Gonzalez who can replace Rodri.

Manchester United

Manchester United have made two signings this month, with Patrick Dorgu from Lecce being the main move. They had been linked to Mathys Tel, although he now looks set to join Tottenham.

The other blockbuster move is Marcus Rashford’s loan move to Aston Villa with a £40m option to buy.

It has been a fairly quiet transfer window for Newcastle, who managed to keep hold of striker Alexander Isak, despite ongoing interest from Arsenal. However, they did see the departure of Miguel Almiron this month.

Nottingham Forest

Forest have been the surprise package of the Premier League this season, sitting third in the Premier League table. They made a bid for Brentford striker Yoane Wissa, and were linked to Wolves star Matheus Cunha alongside Arsenal.

The Saints are in need of more players as they sit bottom of the Premier League, and 10 points away from safety. They have made one permanent signing this month in the form of Joachim Sanda

Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs are subject to the biggest story of transfer deadline day as Bayern Munich striker Mathys Tel has signed on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy in the summer for a fee of £50m. It is a shocking move considering that he recently rejected a move to North London.

West Ham United

The Hammers have finally signed a striker with Graham Potter landing Evan Ferguson on loan who he coached previously at Brighton. They haven’t sold anyone this month.

Wolves

Wolves managed to get Matheus Cunha to sign a contract extension at Molineux, despite the fact that he attracted interest from both Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.
