Arsenal closed the gap and are now level on points with title rivals Manchester City after Pep Guardiola’s side dropped points with a 1-1 draw at Newcastle. 

The Gunners won 4-2 against Leicester, with Chelsea also scoring four goals against a leaky Brighton side that conceded all four to England international Cole Palmer in the first half.

Elsewhere, Tottenham Hotspur dismantled Manchester United with a 3-0 win at Old Trafford which has put Erik Ten Hag’s job back in jeopardy again.

Furthermore, Liverpool took the top spot in the Premier League table after a 2-1 win over a struggling Wolves side. Wolves are bottom of the table after Everton earned their first win of the season.
