Arsenal got back to winning ways this past weekend as they beat high-flying Nottingham Forest 3-0 at the Emirates.
The Gunners closed the gap to Manchester City to just one after City recorded their fifth loss in a row, falling 4-0 to Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium.
Meanwhile, league leaders Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the table to a gap of eight ahead of City with a 3-2 win against Southampton. Chelsea, Wolves and West Ham also recorded impressive wins whereas Ruben Amorim was hit by a draw to Ipswich in his first Manchester United game.
