Poll: Should Mesut Ozil Always Play For Arsenal When He is Fit? Vote Now

Mesut Ozil has proved to be what somewhat of an enigma in the eyes of some fans during his Arsenal career while other fans simply believe the German World Cup winner is a genius playmaker and should always be in the team and just be told to go out and express himself and create on the field.

Arsene Wenger pretty much gave Ozil free reign to do what he wanted on the field and even Jose Mourinho went easy on the star during his spell at Real Madrid.

Ozil has no shortage of silverware in his cabinet winning La Liga in 2011–12, the Copa del Rey in 2010–11 and the Supercopa de España in 2012 during his time with Real Madrid.

Under Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, the playmaker has won the FA Cup 3 times in 2013–14, 2014–15, 2016–17 and he has also won the FA Community Shield in 2015.

Whether Ozil wins silverware under Unai Emery remains to be seen but the new Spanish boss of Arsenal does not seem to be concerned about leaving out Ozil completely from the match-day squad or having him on the bench no matter the game.

At the moment Ozil, who is often linked with a move to Manchester United, is sidelined with a knee problem but could be back for next weekend according to Physioroom.com.

Many global football fans admire Ozil and his high numbers for assists plus his quality goals. Have your say by voting in our poll below and tell us how you think Unai Emery should use the German midfield ace.
