Arsenal have been linked with a summer move for Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard in recent days, with reports indicating that a switch to the Emirates could hinge on the relationship between the winger’s agent Mino Raiola and the Gunners’ Head of Football Raul Sanllehi.

The England international has had a pretty poor season, having failed to score or provide an assist in the Premier League, so it would certainly be a surprise if Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was interested in the player.

Lingard has had his fair share of critics over the years, and it must be said that his form over the last eighteen months, in particular, would suggest he isn’t of the standard required for the Gunners.
