Podolski To Rethink His Situation On Emirates

The 29 year old Lukas Podolski is considering leaving the Emirates after being left out for the bulk of yet another season. Since the Premier League started, he has only made 8 appearances 7 of which saw the German international enter late in the game. According to the Guardian, not being able to play as much as he would want to, is taking a toll on the striker who is packing up his bags for January. Even though he admitted he would have left earlier this year if he had been given the chance, Podolski still has some hope regarding his collaboration with Wenger. The Frenchman has always told the press that all players are important and has insisted that Podolski is an important part of the squad. Numbers tell a different story though.

The tensions at the Emirates have grown considerably and Podolski’s state of mind is not helping. Frustration grows throughout the entire team as Wenger tries to keep things under control. Arsenal now have to keep it under control until the beginning of next year when a few proper transfers might calm things down. Unfortunately Podolski might be leaving in order to balance out the finances at the end of the season. Since moving to North London, he had trouble acclimatising some would say while others feel he has fitted right in -he just has not been given a decent chance and has never been a main man in Wenger’s starting eleven. It may be time for the 29 year old to go a different way despite his recent statements in which he insisted he is still having fun while playing football.
