Podolski More And More Frustrated With His Lack Of Game Time

Podolski is one foot out the door after repeatedly expressing his frustration with the fact that he is not given the chance to perform on a regular basis. Wenger has repeatedly left the German on the bench despite having major squad troubles. Even if he went through a series of injuries, he insists that he his fine and that he could go through a game from beginning to end. According to the Daily Mail, Podolski was also advised by Joachim Low to move this winter in order to get some more on pitch time. The forward’s frustration has been going on for a while now. Since moving to the Emirates he has failed to deal with the rigors of Premier League football in the eyes of Wenger and the boss must think Podolski looks better suited for the Bundesliga. Even though, according to recent statistics, he is the most efficient striker in the UK, his performances have not been top notch and most importantly have not been constant throughout the years. That is one of the main reasons for which he is not one of the team regulars as far as Wenger thinks.

After Germany’s win against Gibraltar, Podolski lashed out at Wenger in a very subtle way by mentioning the fact that he is out of form due to his few chances to actually play. He pointed out that he is getting tired of having to gear up and stay on the bench while others play on a regular basis. The 29 year old will most likely be leaving Arsenal if not in January, then at the end of the season and honestly who can blame him – he came from a smaller German club to play in the Premier League and he really has not been given a fair shake.
