Arsenal remain interested in signing Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno, according to reports in the UK.
It was announced yesterday that the Spaniard will be released by the Reds when his contract expires at the end of June.
Gunners fans on Twitter are mostly against the club making a move for Moreno:
Please, no!!!

Unai is about to unlock Moreno’s inner Maldini?
— Yasin Fauzi (@ysnfz15) 5 June 2019
Arsenal manager Unai Emery worked with Moreno at Sevilla, and the fact that he is a former player means there will always be links about him signing.
However, Moreno may be seriously considering returning to Spain after spending almost five years with Liverpool.
At 26 years of age, he will likely have a number of potential suitors, and the fact that he is available on a free transfer means he should have a host of La Liga clubs after him.
Whether the Gunners would be tempted too, it does seem doubtful, considering they already have Sead Kolasinac and Nacho Monreal.
