Arsenal have made a second bid of £25m for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney, according to multiple reports in the English media.

The proposal is said to match the Hoops’ asking price for the fullback but it remains to be seen if the offer is accepted.

Fans on Twitter are rather impatient to seal the deal for Tierney:

It’s been a very frustrating summer for the Gunners, with the London club having signed just one player so far: Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano.

Recruiting the fullback would be a massive boost for manager Unai Emery who is desperate to strengthen his first-team ahead of the new campaign.

Tierney is reportedly very keen on a move to the Emirates as he is seeking to progress in his career despite being a boyhood Celtic fan.

However, the 22-year-old is currently recovering from a double hernia operation and is unlikely to be fit for the start of the season.
