Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal was doing a bit of shooting practice during training this week when he decided to have a go at chipping the goalkeeper.
The Spaniard executed the finish with inch-perfect precision, with the ball dipping in just below the bar:

The Spaniard has had his struggles with injury this season but he has been back in the starting line up in recent weeks.
Whether he will do enough to be rewarded with a new contract between now and the end of the season, we shall have to wait and see.
Monreal’s current deal expires in the summer, and while there have been reports that the Gunners have triggered an option to extend his stay for a further year, that has yet to be confirmed.
Regardless, since joining from Malaga for £8.5million in January 2013, he has been a very consistent performer for the club.
