Piers Morgan Lists The Three Managers Who Should Be In The Running For The Arsenal Job

Arsenal fans Piers Morgan believes that former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, current Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti and or ex-Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri should be the three names in the frame to replace Unai Emery:

Morgan has been a big advocate for Pochettino, although the likelihood of the Argentinian taking over at the Emirates remains pretty low. He is, though, currently fourth favourite at Sky Bet to get the job.

Ancelotti has been linked by the Telegraph this morning and the former Chelsea manager could be a candidate with his future at Napoli far from certain after a poor start to the season.

Allegri’s availability would also certainly make him a top contender, but the Italian is believed to be on a year-long sabbatical from football. Whether the Gunners could persuade him to cut that short, it remains to be seen.

At the moment, Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is currently second favourite, behind interim head coach Freddie Ljungberg, to become the next permanent Arsenal head coach.
