Let’s be blunt, the 2020/21 season is one Arsenal fans will want to forget in a hurry. Finishing midtable and being knocked out by former manager Unai Emery in the Europa League is hard to accept.

However, there were some green shoots by the end of the campaign. Five straight wins in the league to finish the season, along with the emergence of players such as Emile Smith Rowe mean there is scope for optimism.


Of course, A LOT will depend on what happens in the transfer market this summer. Manager Mikel Arteta needs to strengthen heavily in order to get back to competing regularly at the top of the table.
