Ozil Positive Arsenal Can Overcome 2 Goal Deficit Against Monaco

After spending a lot of time on the bench due to injury, Ozil has returned more confident than ever. According to the Daily Star, the German international is more than certain Arsenal can overcome the two goal deficit that separates them from the next stage of the Champions League. The Gunners showcased some impressive passing skills and dazzled the audiences with some impeccably applied tactics that left West Ham defenders looking overwhelmed on several occasions yesterday. Giroud’s excellent form and Ramsey’s comeback have made a mark on the North Londoners’ game who will be facing Wenger’s former team on Tuesday.

Monaco have the upper hand but should not have an easy time of it if Arsenal keep their heads in the game just as Ozil urged his colleagues to do. The midfielder is expected to start against the French side after managing a performance which was in tune with the entire team.

Hopefully Arsenal will have learned from their previous experience against Munich when they could have got over the 2 goal disadvantage that could have put them through the next stage. Monaco do not have the defensive power the German side had and still has which could make things easier for the Gunners. They also miss quick counterattack players which Munich benefited off of last year. Add to that the fact that Arsenal have now a group that has been playing together for a while and that they are on an ascending trend, and chances of them qualifying start looking better and better.
