Ozil Mocked By Chelsea Youngster After Poor Performance Vs Liverpool

Mesut Ozil received some “advice” from one of Chelsea’s rising stars, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who commented on the way the German international performed on the pitch against Liverpool. It was a poor performance from all of Wenger’s players but all eyes still seem to be on Ozil because of the massive deal that brought him to Emirates stadium.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek reminded Arsenal’s midfielder that he is no longer performing in La Liga and that the Premier League is a totally different thing. To be honest the youngster was right if you care to analyze the stats which the Gunners ended the game against Liverpool with.

Ozil became the most expensive transfer in the Arsenal’s history after Wenger paid £42.5million for the German. Despite managing some excellent performances it is obvious he is not yet complately at home with the way things are done in England. His assists and goals helped Wenger reach the top of the Premier League but have not been decisive yet. The 25 year old, who was characterized as lazy by Chelsea’s player, was clearly not on form against Liverpool. He was substituted for Rosicky with 30 minutes to go after Wenger decided to make a three player change.

According to Metro, Ruben Loftus-Cheek was not the only person to be crtical of the way Ozil performed. Gooners were also angry after seeing their team behind by 4 goals after only 20 minutes had passed.
