There haven’t been many that have stood out this season, but Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has certainly been one of the best performers in a Gunners’ shirt.
Despite having a pretty abject defence in front of him, the German has stood firm and produced a series of excellent saves. Supporters on Twitter have been praising the shot-stopper after Arsenal’s Twitter account shared his top 5 best saves of the campaign so far:

Fans will be hoping that the club can bring in a few defenders in January so Leno is not forced into so many saves. The 27-year-old has faced an astonishing 101 shots in the Premier League this season; that is more than any other goalkeeper.
Even so, he has managed to save 74 of them, which gives him a very respectable save percentage of 73.2%. He will be a key component for this Arsenal side going forward, no matter who the next manager is.
