Arsenal have “agreed” a £12m fee with Chelsea for Jorginho, according to The Athletic reporter David Ornstein.
The trusted journalist claims that personal terms have already been thrashed out, with the Gunners set to sign the Italian international on an eighteen-month contract, with an option for a further year. He will have a medical at the club’s training ground before sealing his move ahead of tonight’s deadline.

Manager Mikel Arteta is known to be a big fan of Jorginho, with Arsenal having been linked with the 31-year-old in previous transfer windows
After having two bids rejected for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo, it appears the Gunners made the decision to switch targets to the Italian, who had less than six months remaining on his current deal at Chelsea.
The Blues were happy to let the player leave to prevent him from leaving for nothing in June, and it seems Jorginho is keen on making the switch to a team who are chasing the Premier League title.
