Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – David Raya – after making two mistakes in the victory over Luton, the Spaniard will be hoping for a better performance on Saturday evening.
RB – Ben White – had his good and bad moments at Kenilworth Road. After creating Gabriel Jesus’s goal, he didn’t mark Ross Barkley tightly enough for Luton’s third. Against Villa, he will be going up against John McGinn, who has been converted into a left winger this campaign.
CB – William Saliba – the 22-year-old’s main job will be to keep an eye on Ollie Watkins. The Villa forward has scored 13 goals in 22 appearances this season.
CB – Gabriel – Villa tend to play with a support striker, with Moussa Diaby, Nicola Zaniolo or Youri Tielemans taking up the role, so Gabriel and Saliba will have to decide whether they go out and close them down.
LB – Oleksandr Zinchenko – Jakub Kiwior struggled in possession against Luton and, while he may not be as good defensively, Zinchenko is likely to be recalled to the starting lineup this weekend as he can offer a lot more creativity.
