Arsenal, Tottenham and Juventus are all interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic on loan, according to reports in the Catalan media.
The Bosnian international was not a regular starter under Ronald Koeman last season, and with Barca needing to reduce their wage bill, he has been deemed surplus to requirements.
Pjanic is likely to be on a very high wage and, at 31 years of age, he isn’t exactly a young player anymore. That has led many supporters on Twitter to say that the Gunners should steer clear of the midfielder:
Old and on a ridiculous wage. Typical Arsenal signing

If arsenal wants to move forward they need to stop loaning in old players and buying washed players.

At the moment, reports of Arsenal’s interest in Pjanic are mostly emanating from Spain, so there may be nothing to the speculation. The Gunners are, though, pressing ahead with their plans to strengthen their midfield.
Albert Sambi Lokonga is expected to join from Anderlecht very soon, while it is believed the club will step up its interest in Wolves’ Ruben Neves.
