Gabriel has not been the same player since he picked up the virus and, while Rob Holding was just as poor versus Villa, Arteta may drop the Brazilian in order to reinstate Luiz.
Out of all the centre-back partnerships this season, the Holding-Luiz combination has probably looked the most solid so this is the likeliest pair to start this weekend.
