Norwich V Arsenal: Match Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Four consecutive wins in all competitions means that Arsenal will be travelling to Carrow Road on Sunday with a lot of confidence.

In contrast, Norwich have not won any of their last five matches, with the new manager bounce, following the appointment of Dean Smith, having been short-lived.

With regards to team news, a lot depends on the virus situation at both teams. Albert Sambi Lokonga, Calum Chambers and Pablo Mari have all been unavailable for recent games so we shall see who is eligible to return to the squad this weekend. Arsenal’s injury situation is looking pretty promising, though, with Takehiro Tomiyasu (muscular) and Sead Kolasinac the only two players on the treatment table. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is still not ready to return while Ainsley Maitland-Niles could be back in contention after recovering from an unspecified illness.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Play Norwich:

Ramsdale, Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Odegaard, Xhaka, Saka, Lacazette, Martinelli

Norwich could have Milot Rashica back available after a groin problem, while Mathias Normann is closing in on a return from a pelvis injury. Ozan Kabak is expected to be in contention despite a calf issue, but Christos Tzolis, Lukas Rupp, Joshua Sargent and Pierre Lees-Melou are all doubts due to the virus. Grant Hanley (shoulder), Andrew Omobamidele (back) and Christoph Zimmermann (ankle) have all been ruled out.

Norwich’s Predicted XI:

Krul, Aarons, Kabak, Gibson, Williams, Gilmour, Sorensen, McLean, Placheta, Pukki, Cantwell

The bookmakers have made the Gunners the big favourites for this game with William Hill pricing them at 4/9 odds-on to win. A draw is 19/5 with Unibet while a victory for Norwich is 7/1 at BetVictor.

Predicted Score – 2-0 to Arsenal
