Arsenal are considering a move for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, according to reports in the UK. The London club’s two priority midfield targets are believed to be Houssem Aouar and Thomas Partey but the Italian international’s name has now also been added to the list.
There have been some reports that Blues boss Frank Lampard would be prepared to let the player leave before the transfer window closes. Even so, supporters on Twitter don’t think the Gunners should be signing more players from Stamford Bridge:

Chelsea are thought to be looking at ways to raise funds for signing West Ham midfielder Delcan Rice so there is a good possibility that Jorginho would be available. However, while he does have a decent passing range, his lack of mobility would not make him a good fit for Mikel Arteta’s style of play.
Manchester City did try to sign the Italian a few years ago when Arteta was still assistant manager there, but it remains to be seen if the Spaniard is keen on recruiting him now.
