Arsenal are very much in the race to sign Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga this summer, according to reports in the French media.
The teenager will have just one year left on his contract in the summer, and his availability has attracted the attention of the Gunners.
Camavinga is an extremely promising young player so Rennes are believed to be still holding out for around €50m (£43m), and fans on Twitter are sceptical whether Arsenal are interested in the midfielder:
No chance?

Will be a top player, but I don’t think an 18 year old will help us rebuilding

This is a “shoot for the stars and land back on earth” type situation. We dont have the facilities or ambitions for that bigman

One reliable UK-based source has already dismissed this rumour as nonsense so we shall see whether there is any truth to the story when the summer transfer window opens.
Camavinga is said to have a whole host of suitors, including Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool so, even if the Gunners were to make a bid, they would have to fight off a lot of competition to secure his signature.
