Former Arsenal star Charlie Nicholas is predicting that Arsenal will get the win against Bournemouth today. The Sky Sports pundit says the Cherries will be dangerous on the counter-attack but he believes the Gunners are playing well enough to come out on top:

“This is a game I expect Arsenal to go and win. Bournemouth are ticking along nicely and will play on the counter-attack, but they don’t tend to get results on the road away at the big sides. But with Arsenal’s defence is still very fragile, this is another dangerous game for the Gunners.”

Nicholas has gone for a 3-1 scoreline to the home side, which is a pretty fair prediction considering Eddie Howe’s side have lost all four of their games away to Arsenal since being promoted to the Premier League in 2015.

They were defeated 5-1 the last time they came to the Emirates back in February, and their open, attacking brand of football means that teams always have chances against them.

Saying that, the same could be said about Arsenal, and it’s probably likely that Unai Emery’s side won’t keep a clean sheet today. At home this season, the Gunners have scored seven and conceded five in three games and it could be another high scoring game this afternoon.
