Nicholas Makes His Prediction As Arsenal Face Norwich

Former Arsenal player Charlie Nicholas is still not convinced by the Gunners despite their recent wins against Southampton and Sheffield United.

The lack of fluency and the defensive frailties mean that the Sky Sports pundit feels head coach Mikel Arteta has a lot of work to do to turn the club’s fortunes around. However, they face a Norwich side tonight who are in dire form.

Nicholas predicts an easy victory for Arsenal, and he expects captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to have a field day at the Emirates:

“Norwich are gone, and I think the Man Utd game was their last throw of the dice. To be beaten the way they were, they will be looking at each other, and they will not admit it, but they will know their time is up.”

“Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang must be looking at this and thinking of showcasing what he has got, while potentially winning the Golden Boot again. He could be next in line, but I am expecting Arsenal to be comfortable in victory here.”

Nicholas has gone for a 3-0 win, which is a pretty fair prediction, although it is surprising that he has gone with the Gunners keeping a clean sheet considering their recent struggles at the back.

The Canaries have, though, scored just one goal in their three games since the restart and anything other than a convincing home victory this evening would be a big surprise.
