One of the newest additions to the Arsenal squad, Leandro Trossard, has celebrated his team’s dominant win over a sorry Everton outfit on Wednesday evening with a post on Instagram.
Arsenal controlled the action throughout, as the Toffees offered very little in response. Trossard himself was very impressive – he assisted Arsenal’s third goal of the game, which was scored by Martin Odegaard.
The post contains a collection of photos, each of which shows pictures of in-game action, featuring Trossard at the forefront. There is also a photo of the team celebrating, following one of their four goals on Wednesday evening.
For the post’s caption, Trossard simply wrote: “Wednesday Night Win!”
The Belgian winger’s post currently has just under 170,000 likes on Instagram. Several of his teammates, past and present, have liked the post – including Rob Holding, Bukayo Saka and Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella (who played alongside Trossard at Brighton). Additionally, Gabriel Martinelli also left a comment on the post.
Since signing for the Gunners, Trossard has featured in all of their Premier League games, including against teams such as Manchester United and Manchester City.
The win over Everton puts Arsenal one step closer to their first Premier League title since 2004 – when they completed their famous ‘invincibles’ season under Arsene Wenger. The two Manchester clubs are hot on the Gunners’ trail, but so long as they keep winning their games, they won’t be caught.
