Nelson And Ceballos In, Lacazette And Xhaka Out: Arsenal’s Predicted Line Up To Face Watford

The news that striker Alexandre Lacazette will be out until October will come as a big blow to Arsenal manager Unai Emery and the Spaniard will need to reshuffle the pack when the Gunners face Watford tomorrow.

Still, he is unlikely to change much in the backline, with Rob Holding slated to get his first match in the Europa League next week, while Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin both may need matches for the Under 23s despite returning to full training.

In midfield, Emery has confirmed that both Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka are ready to play against the Hornets. He may still rest one of them, though, to accommodate Dani Ceballos back into the starting line up.

After Xhaka’s poor performance against Tottenham and the fact that he is carrying an Achilles problem, he would be the likeliest to drop out at Vicarage Road.

Lacazette’s absence could see Reiss Nelson make his return to the side after being benched for the games against Liverpool and Spurs.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Watford:

Leno, Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, David Luiz, Kolasinac, Torreira, Ceballos, Guendouzi, Pepe, Aubameyang, Nelson
