Moussa Sissoko Getting Ready For Arsenal Transfer

After moving to Newcastle back in January 2013, Sissoko became a main man for his team. With a similar style to that of Arsenal legend, Patrick Vieira, the 25 year old defensive midfielder has had a massive impact on the Magpies who managed some great games last seasons. According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners are not the only ones interested in Sissoko who could solve a lot of problems at the Emirates. PSG are also keen on bringing in the French international who looks like one of the most reliable anchors in the game right now. Despite being held back by a long term deal that should keep him performing for Newcastle until 2019, there is still a chance that the idea of competing in the Champions League will change his mind. The £20million expected to go Newcastle’s way is also an important factor in the player’s future. Wenger has a tough decision ahead of him considering the amount needed to sign Sissoko will empty Arsenal’s transfer budget for this January.

There might be some solutions in order to lower the Frenchman’s price though. Arsenal have both Sanogo and Campbell who are rumored to be on the transfer list this winter. Podolski could have been great leverage but he just joined Inter. Hopefully one of the two strikers could lower the price for Sissoko who is looking like the best choice to help the Gunners’ future plans to go as far in the Champions League as possible.
