Merson Makes His Prediction For Arsenal’s Game Against Everton

Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson thinks that the Gunners should get the win against Everton today.

The Toffees lost their last game at home against struggling West Ham, and the ex-Gunner thinks Unai Emery’s side will pick off their opponents much like the Hammers:

“I think Arsenal will have too much movement for them, you only have to look at how West Ham picked them off. I expect Arsenal to do the same. Everton have drawn too many games. When you draw a few games you cannot afford to lose the next, that’s the problem.”

It’s going to be an interesting encounter. Neither team have kept a clean sheet this season and have shipped nine goals each. However, there is no doubt that Arsenal have more firepower.

The likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil will prove to be major threats for their opponents.

In stark contrast, Everton’s main striker Cenk Tosun has yet to get off the mark this season, although the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Theo Walcott have been hitting the back of the net.

They will also have Richarlison back for the game at the Emirates so the Gunners will want to keep an eye on the Brazilian.
