Mandzukic Set To Snub EPL Interest

The Croatian hitman, Mario Mandzukic as already stated that he does not see a future at Bayern Munich and will probably leave the club this summer. He has scored 33 league goals in the last two seasons for Bayern and won the treble in the 2012-13 season, but the arrival of striker Robert Lewandowski has pushed him towards the exit door.

The likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been linked with the former Wolfsburg striker. The Gunners, in desperate need of a new striker, have reportedly bid in the region of £15 million for Mandzukic’s services. Even the Blues and the Red Devils have shown an interest in the 28-year-old.

However, Mandzukic does not want to leave Germany and prefers re-joining his former club Wolfsburg. The prolific striker is close to sealing a return to Wolfsburg, who he left in 2012 in favour of a move to the Allianz Arena, according to the Daily Star.

The report states that: “Bayern star Mandzukic will probably start the new season again for Lower Saxony [Wolfsburg]. It’s all about details.”
