Arsenal supporters are keenly anticipating the return of defender Rob Holding to the first-team fold as he stepped up his comeback from an ACL injury by playing the full 90 minutes for the Under 23s on Friday night.
The 23-year-old showed his class with an excellent piece of control after taking down a long ball in the 2-2 draw against Everton in the Premier League 2 fixture:

Fans on Twitter were loving Holding’s ability on the ball, and want to see the centre-back make his return to the starting line up as soon as possible:

Can’t wait for him and Bellerin to be back.

I was one of many fans who massively over-hyped this lad after his first spell in the side.
What have I learned from that?
Absolutely nothing.
Welcome back Holdini, please fix this defence ASAP thanks.

David Luiz’s disappointing display against Liverpool has again raised questions about the Gunners’ porous defence. However, with Holding, Hector Bellerin and new signing Kieran Tierney all due to make their comebacks over the next six weeks, Arsenal’s backline could have a very different feel to it very soon.
A few more clean sheets would certainly be useful as the London club look to secure a top-four finish this campaign.
