The Brazilian’s positioning was questioned by some pundits for the Benteke goal on Monday, but his error wasn’t as egregious as White’s.
For the most part, Gabriel dealt with Benteke’s aerial threat pretty well and it was another demonstration that he is the best centre-back at the club.
