Lingard’s Transfer Stance Revealed As Arsenal, West Ham And Roma All Chase United Ace’s Signature

Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard is prepared to leave Old Trafford but he wants to stay in the Premier League, according to the Sun.

The newspaper has revealed that Arsenal and Roma have joined West Ham in the battle to snap up the England international at the end of the season.

With Lingard having seemingly already ruled out a move to Italy, though, it looks like it will be a straight fight between the Gunners and the Hammers, with Mikel Arteta’s side expected to have a slight edge.

The main reason for that is the fact that United would like Declan Rice to be included in a deal involving Lingard but that proposal has already been dismissed out of hand by West Ham.

Lingard has been in superb form since moving to the London Stadium on loan in January, having scored six goals and provided four assists in just eight appearances. However, a switch to the Emirates is now seen as an increasingly likely possibility.
