Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny dominated the middle of the park, alongside Thomas Partey, as the Gunners came out deserved 1-0 winners against Manchester United last night.
The Egyptian international looks like a completely different player to the one that left for Besiktas on loan at the start of last season, and after the victory at Old Trafford, fans were quick to praise the 28-year-old for turning around his career at the Emirates:

Elneny’s work rate has certainly made him a favourite of manager Mikel Arteta who has begun to pick him ahead of the likes of Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos. The Egyptian was quick to close down any threat from United’s key danger men, Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes, and his work in tandem with Partey played a key role in securing the three points.
The midfielder deserves huge credit for the way he has managed to get back into first-team contention only a few months after it seemed he was destined to leave the London club.
