‘Life Long Contract’ ‘Made In Hale End!’ Fans Excited As Romano Makes Big Claim About Arsenal Star’s Future

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka is fully committed to the Gunners and is open to signing a new contract in the summer, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The 20-year-old still has two and a half years remaining on his current deal but there has been some speculation that Liverpool and Manchester City are tracking the England international. However, Romano says the player is keen on staying at the Emirates:

“When I’m asking about contract, the answer I’m receiving is: this boy really loves Arsenal. He’s in love with Arsenal, he’s really committed, he’s really serious. He knows how Arsenal are helping him, so he’s only focused on the second part of the season. Contract talks won’t take place in March or in April. It will be at the end of the season as a possibility to discuss a new contract with Arsenal. But really, Bukayo Saka is happy and I’m sure that if Arsenal will play Champions League football, they will have the chance to discuss a new contract with Bukayo Saka.”

Supporters on Twitter are, unsurprisingly, very happy to hear Romano’s remarks, with many hoping that the Hale End graduate will remain a one-club man:

Saka has never shown any inclination that he wishes to leave Arsenal so it looks as though he will commit his long-term future to the club at the end of the season.

Romano’s comments about Champions League football are, however, slightly concerning, especially if the Gunners do miss out on fourth, but their form suggests that they could well qualify for Europe’s top competition this campaign anyway.
