Leeds United V Arsenal: Team News And Betting Odds

Arsenal have a number of players who are doubts for their trip to face Leeds United on Sunday. The biggest concern is Thomas Partey with the Ghanaian having to be substituted at half-time in the 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa due to a thigh problem.

The 27-year-old did not travel during the international break so it will be hoped that the time he has spent on the treatment table will be enough so he can play at Elland Road.

Willian’s participation is also in question. The Brazilian made an unauthorised trip to Dubai and his selection will be determined by him returning a negative test for the virus.

Mohamed Elneny and Sead Kolasinac have tested positive so they will not feature against Leeds, while Pablo Mari (ankle), Gabriel Martinelli (knee) will also be missing for the game. Calum Chambers is now fit but he needs more time to recover his full match fitness after being sidelined for eleven months.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa won’t have Rodrigo available after a positive test, and there are doubts over Kalvin Phillips (shoulder), Jamie Shackleton (muscular) and Diego Llorente (groin). Adam Forshaw (hip) and Gaetano Berardi (knee) remain out of contention.

The bookmakers have made Arsenal the slight favourites with BetVictor pricing them at 6/5 for the win. A draw is 13/5 with Sky Bet while a Leeds victory is currently 9/4 at Bet365.

Predicted Score – 2-2
