Leandro Trossard’s Return Date Revealed As Arsenal Are Handed Important Fitness Boost Ahead Of Run In

Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard could be back in action before the next international break, according to the Evening Standard.

The Belgian had to be substituted midway through the first half of the 3-2 win over Bournemouth on Saturday, having sustained a groin injury.

It is believed that the decision to take Trossard off early on may have saved him from a much longer period on the sidelines.

There is no chance that the winger will be available for the game against Sporting Lisbon on Thursday, and he is not expected to be in the matchday squad to face Fulham this weekend either.

However, if the initial diagnosis is confirmed by further scans this week, there is an expectation among Arsenal’s medical team that Trossard will be back in action within the next two weeks. The game versus Crystal Palace on March 19th is, therefore, the most likely match that the January signing will return to the fray.
