Lautaro Martinez’s Agent Reveals Player’s Transfer Stance Amid Reports Of Interest From Arsenal, Spurs And United

The agent of Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez insists that the Argentinian international has no interest in leaving the Serie A champions this summer.

Speculation both in Italy and England has linked Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United with a move for the striker at the end of the season, but Alejandro Camano says his client is happy at the San Siro:

“Sometimes the press talks about his possible transfer but he only thinks of Inter. We’re not looking for a negotiation to take him elsewhere. He’s happy at Inter, the city is wonderful. He’s only focussing on Inter.”

“Lautaro is growing as a footballer. Let’s not forget that he is still 24 years old. He is already establishing himself as one of the best strikers on the international scene. A new generation of forwards is appearing, of which Lautaro is a part.”

Martinez is reportedly one of three strikers that the Gunners are looking at, in addition to Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus and Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Out of the trio, the Argentine was always going to be the one least likely to be interested, but Arsenal were hopeful of persuading him into a move to the Emirates if they qualify for the Champions League.

Inter’s finances mean that they will likely be open to selling Martinez this summer, regardless of the player’s stance, but his agent’s comments suggest he won’t be forced out.
