Latest Arsenal Injury Report

Arsenal got off to a good start in the Europa League with a 4-2 win over Ukrainian outfit Vorskla Poltava on Thursday but they didn’t get away unscathed.

Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan suffered an injury to his right ankle during the match and is now a doubt for tomorrow’s game against Everton.

The Armenian international is, however, the only new injury concern for Unai Emery. Sead Kolasinac remains sidelined with a knee issue, but he should return to first-team training before the next international break in October.

Laurent Koscielny’s recovery from an Achilles problem is reportedly progressing well. He has begun working outside for the first time and is expected to return to full training at some point in November.

There is also good news for Gunners starlet Ainsley Maitland-Niles who was supposed to be back in action at roughly the same time as the Frenchman. The 21-year-old’s recovery from a fractured leg is going better than expected, and he could now be back early next month.

Finally, we come to Carl Jenkinson. The right-back has not played for Arsenal for almost two years, but he is currently out injured with a sprained right ankle. He could be back in action at the start of October as well.
