Latest Arsenal Injury Report: Updates On Zinchenko, Marquinhos, Smith Rowe And Elneny

Arsenal fullback Oleksandr Zinchenko remains sidelined with a troublesome calf problem which has been an issue since the start of the season.

Manager Mikel Arteta is confident that the Ukrainian international will return to action soon but he won’t be available for the Europa League group game against PSV Eindhoven.

Marquinhos is also currently out of contention, with the Brazilian winger said to be suffering from an illness that prevented him from being involved in training this week.

Emile Smith Rowe had surgery last month to fix a chronic groin problem that had made it difficult for him to play. It is not known when the attacking midfielder will be back fit, with Arteta having refused to set a timeline for his return.

Mohamed Elneny suffered a serious hamstring injury after the Fulham game back in August and he is expected to start training again early in the New Year.
