Latest Arsenal Injury Report: Updates On Smith Rowe, Tomiyasu And Tierney

Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe missed the 2-1 win over Wolves last night due to illness.

With the Gunners not in action this weekend, he is expected to be available for their next game versus Watford at the start of next month.

Manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that fullback Takehiro Tomiyasu has suffered a fresh calf injury. The Japanese international had returned to training after recovering from a similar problem, but it seems the issue is now in his other leg. He is a major doubt for the trip to Vicarage Road on Sunday week.

Kieran Tierney had to be substituted in the closing stages of the victory against Wolves. The Scottish international looked to be clutching his thigh before he was replaced by Nuno Tavares in injury time, but it has yet to be confirmed whether the defender was simply suffering from cramp or if he sustained a more serious injury.
