Latest Arsenal Injury Report: Updates On Saka And Xhaka

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka only suffered a knock in the 0-0 draw against Brighton at the Amex last night.

The 20-year-old picked up a leg injury in the second half after a collision with Seagulls winger Solly March, which left him unable to complete the 90 minutes.

Saka is a key player for the Gunners and the news that he won’t miss any upcoming matches for his club will be welcomed. He will, though, be on international duty over the next couple of weeks so we shall see if he does feature for England in the games against Andorra and Hungary.

Granit Xhaka is already back in the gym as he works his way back to fitness after suffering knee ligament damage. The Swiss international sustained the injury after colliding with Lucas Moura in the North London derby last weekend.

Arsenal’s medical department estimates that the 29-year-old will be out for three months, which suggests he will be back by Christmas.
