Latest Arsenal Injury Report: Updates On Jesus, Smith Rowe, Nelson And Elneny

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has been pictured out on the grass at London Colney as he steps up his recovery from a medial knee ligament injury.

The Brazilian international has been sidelined since the World Cup but the player has said that he is hopeful of being back in action by the start of March.

Emile Smith Rowe is currently out of contention with a thigh problem. The winger has not had the best of times with injuries so far this season, having already spent a few months out after undergoing surgery on a chronic groin issue.

He did return to make two brief substitute appearances against Oxford United and Tottenham, but he has now returned to the treatment table.

Reiss Nelson sustained a hamstring injury in a friendly against Juventus back in December, but he has been seen back in training and there is an outside chance that he could be available to face Brentford this weekend.

However, Mohamed Elneny is unlikely to play again this season, having undergone a knee operation.
