Arsenal will be without Cedric Soares for the game against Leicester tonight. The Portuguese international has been left out of the squad as a precaution due to a tight calf.
Kieran Tierney continues to be assessed ahead of the Liverpool game after missing out on the win against West Ham due to a tight groin, while Sokratis is set to return to training at some point this week following a calf problem.
Emile Smith Rowe is now out of a protective sling following a shoulder injury and is estimated to be back in full training by the start of next month.
Four other first-team players remain on the sidelines. Pablo Mari is expected to make his comeback from an ankle problem in the next week or so, while Calum Chambers (knee) is likely to start full training, after ten months out, in October.
Shkodran Mustafi will also be back in contention next month. The German international underwent surgery on a hamstring injury back in July but he is close to returning to action.
Gabriel Martinelli remains a long term absentee and his estimated return date remains sometime before the end of the year after undergoing a knee operation to repair cartilage.
