Latest Arsenal Injury Report For The Week: Latest On Reiss Nelson

Arsenal nearly have a fully fit squad for the first time in a long time, with just one player missing for the game against Vitoria Guimaraes this evening.

Reiss Nelson sustained a knee injury during the 4-0 win over Standard Liege earlier this month, and won’t be available for the Europa League clash. The 19-year-old is expected to be back in full training in November.

Alexandre Lacazette made his return from an ankle injury after coming on as a substitute in the 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United on Monday. It remains to be seen if he’ll get an extended runout tonight or whether Unai Emery will rest him ahead of this weekend’s game against Crystal Palace.

It’s likely that Kieran Tierney will get another start this evening despite being overlooked for league games. The left-back is taking things slowly after complications in his recovery from a hernia operation, but he is available for selection.

Hector Bellerin will also be a candidate to start as he looks to build up his fitness following a knee injury.
