Latest Arsenal Injury Report Ahead Of The Game Against Southampton

Arsenal have one major injury concern heading into this weekend’s game against Southampton. The biggest doubt for the clash at the Emirates is midfielder Dani Ceballos.

The Spaniard picked up a hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw against Vitoria and did not feature in the squad that lost 2-0 to Leicester before the international break.

Although Gunners boss Unai Emery described it as a “small injury”, Ceballos still seems to be struggling after missing Spain’s games against Malta and Romania. It remains to be seen if he’ll be fit and available for Saturday.

Kieran Tierney was not called up for Scotland with the left-back still managing a groin issue, but he is expected to take part in the match against the Saints.

Reiss Nelson scored for England’s Under 21s in their 3-0 win over Albania on Friday, and he appears to have recovered fully from a knee injury that kept him out for a number of weeks.

Emile Smith Rowe was not included in the team that played Vitoria due to a tight calf muscle but the attacking midfielder is back in training and should be in contention for the weekend.
