Latest Arsenal Injury News: Updates On Smith Rowe, Leno And Kolasinac

Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe was an unused substitute in the 3-0 win against Southampton yesterday evening.

The 21-year-old sustained a groin injury in the 3-2 defeat to Manchester United and was missing from the squad that lost to Everton last Monday.

However, Smith Rowe did return to training on Friday, and it seems he just wasn’t ready to start versus the Saints. After a few extra days, he should be in contention to face West Ham on Wednesday night.

Bernd Leno was not on the bench once again yesterday with Arthur Okonkwo taking his place. The German has his own groin problem and he is still currently being assessed by the club’s medical staff. He is not expected to be back in time for the Hammers clash.

Sead Kolasinac picked up a serious ankle injury whilst playing for Bosnia last month. The fullback is now back training outside but he won’t be available for selection until January.
