Latest Arsenal Injury News: Updates On Partey, Willian And Saka

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey remains a doubt for Thursday’s game against Molde. The Ghanaian suffered a thigh injury versus Aston Villa before the international break and remains in rehab.

A return against Wolves on Sunday is more likely, with the Gunners hesitant to risk their £45m recruit. It is thought, though, that the 27-year-old will be back in action soon.

Willian is currently undergoing treatment after picking up a muscular problem in the first half of the 0-0 draw against Leeds on Sunday. The Brazilian was replaced at half time by Reiss Nelson.

Bukayo Saka sustained a knee injury in the closing stages of the stalemate at Elland Road and it is hoped that the player has not suffered any ligament damage following a heavy challenge. Both the England international and Willian are major doubts for the match versus Molde.

Pablo Mari is finally fit after taking longer than expected to recover from an ankle injury he picked up back in June in the first game after the restart against Manchester City.

Gabriel Martinelli, meanwhile, could be back earlier than predicted with the Gunners medical team saying the Brazilian could start training in the next ten days.  It was believed he would need until the end of the year to recover from knee surgery.

Mohamed Elneny and Sead Kolasinac are both still sidelined after testing positive for the virus.
